WA grid is not part of the NEM, national electricity market. SUNCABLE plan to supply a lot of elctricity to Singapore from NT Australia, may be built in 5 years, using a CABLE 4,200 km long. Joining WA to the NEM needs a much shorter Cable across the Nullarbor. If WA joined the NEM, large Solar Farm near the coast of WA could feed KWH to NEM. WA is in a different TIME ZONE to Sydney. So when the SUN SETS in NSW & local PV shuts down WA can feed low cost PV energy to Vic/NSW after sun sets⌚
